Case study · Flagship
TBN (US) & MAGU (EU): one Shopify platform, every market.
We built the Shopify platform powering TBN’s US launch: checkout, catalog, ops, the lot. The same codebase is now being adapted to power MAGU’s expansion into new European markets, market by market. MAGU’s home market (CZ/SK) continues to operate on its own legacy backend. That one is theirs, not ours. One platform, multi-brand, multi-region. The most complex engagement we’ve delivered end-to-end.
Delivered under
TBN.ltd live in the US on the platform we built.
Storefront, checkout, catalog, fulfilment integrations, and ops tooling, all under one Shopify Plus codebase. Built to a performance budget, with SEO instrumentation and accessibility audited from day one.
MAGU launching market by market on the same codebase.
The platform built for TBN is being adapted for MAGU's expansion into new European markets: pricing, language, tax, FX, and payment localised per market. One operation, many storefronts.
MAGU CZ/SK stays on its own backend: we work around it, not against it.
The home market runs on a long-standing custom backend that isn't ours. Our scope explicitly co-exists with it: no destructive migration, no forced cutover, no risk to a market that's already working.
Ten-phase delivery model, fixed price per phase.
Discovery → Foundation → Storefront → Integrations → Migration → QA → Launch → Stabilise → Expand → Handover. Written acceptance at every gate. The team that scopes is the team that ships. See the 11-phase process for the full arc.

TechMan’s custom-CRM build and the multi-year Mangools engagement sit next to this one on the main deck, with the selected partnerships behind most of the deeper work.
